We went for lunch and also an evening meal this year, the hosts are charming. The view speaks for itself and so does the food. The Apple Pie...wow!The drive is well worthwhile with several viewpoints along he way. Good luck to Antonio and Maria.

Although it has been some time since my parents and I came to your restuarant it was still truly an exceptional dining experience. Everyone was happy after the meal. Great ambience, friendly service and I had the most sumptuous mouthwatering, seasoned and cooked to perfection pork loin that I did not soon forget. It's one of those restuarants where you can't decide because everything looks good on the menu. It's clear everything was fresh and locally grown. Uniquely charming, amazing views suited for a large party of friends or a romantic dinner with my girlfriend. They also have an eye for great wines and a must try for delicious desserts.

na een prachtige rit door de bergen vanaf sta,catarina, na diverse stops voor de mooie vergezichten, aangekomen bij de Mesa, wat bleek: gesloten winterstop, maar antonio bleek bereid 2 heerlijke capucinos te maken en liet ons bovendien genieten van zijn heerlijke appeltaart. t bleek een rondje van de zaak te zijn. dit is echte Gastvrijheid, die wij zeker zullen belonen met diverse bezoeken in t nieuwe seizoen. de adembenemende positie van dit restaurant samen met de voortreffelijke kookkunsten van de chef maakt een bezoek dubbel en dwars waard.

We visited the restuarant last October as we have a timeshare in Quinta do Lago and took a drive from Tavira up into the mountains. What great food and fabulous views awaited us. We will be back next October for sure!

É sem duvida um dos locais mais agradavéis para passar um dia em familia. A excelente vista sobre Tavira, bem como, as magnificas ementas, fazem do Mesa do Cume um local obrigatório de passagem. Felicito Antonio e Maria pela simpatia, e pela excelente qualidade de todo o serviço.

Twee maanden geleden was ik met mijn zus bij jullie! Eerst ons vergaapt aan wat een view on the top, toen een wandelingetje gemaakt, lekker op slippers! En daarna de rest van de dag bij jullie op het terras gegeten en gedronken. Wat ontzettend heerlijk eten, alles was TIP-on-the-TOP!!

Hoje, planeamos em família sair da rotina e fazer um percurso pela serra de Tavira. O dia apresentava-se cinzento, mas nós queriamos descobrir o lugar onde existe um restaurante, que é apontado como sendo um lugar espectacular para passar uns momentos de calma, boa comida e atendimento. A meio caminho de Tavira para Cachopo encontramos o lugar e fomos atendidos muito simpáticamente pelo responsável do restaurante. As vistas da serra e do mar são dislumbrantes, desta vez apenas bebemos um café e um chá, mas o momento foi espectacular e, ... ficamos com a vontade de lá voltar. O Algarve Este tem riquezas para descobrir. Parabéns. Parabéns

What a lovely experience at your first high tea on 13 May - excellent selection of sandwiches, cakes, tea and what wonderful flavours. This was followed by a meal a few days later - again excellent food and good service in an outstanding location. Looking forward to another visit in 2012. Well done Antonio and Maria

What a wonderful meal we had at your fantastic Restaurant on Wednesday. You let us have our drinks and starters on the terrace in the shade of a tree, before we moved to the dining area for our amazing food. Thank you for your friendly service and delicious food. From the journey up from Tavira the whole experience was amazing.
